Module 4: JavaScript Projects

In Learning code, fast is slow, and slow is fast…

I’m saying this because, about halfway through, I realized I was moving through a little too fast, not really understanding the foundations of the code I was writing. Subsequently, I stopped and went back to square 1, the basics of JavaScript. As I look back on my journey through this module, I can’t help but give myself a pat on the back, because I would be lying if I said there weren't times during this section where I didn’t think I was ever going to understand JavaScript… but I broke through!

With building projects in this module, it gave me a whole different perspective, it allowed me to think more and more like a developer. Learning the fundamentals of JavaScript is one thing, but tying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript into projects is like, you getting a tub of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream when your friend gets a tub of generic vanilla ice cream. Haha, I know ice cream is ice cream, but who doesn't prefer Blue Bell over the generic brand?

After saying that, the most rewarding part was being able to sit back and feel a sense of completion. It’s like unlocking a new level in Mario!

And like I continue to say, I am grateful that I found ROOTs to help guide me through this process!
